WOLLONGONG-based mutual IMB, formerly Illawarra Mutual Building Society, has failed in an attempt to wind back time. Shareholders, who have been allowed into the IMB structure since 1989, have repulsed an attempt to dramatically alter their rights, and significantly reduce the potential value of their ownership.
