PUNJAB Polo Club beat Malaysian Tigers 9-5 to win the coveted Merdeka Cup at the Putrajaya Equestrian Park yesterday. Bhawani Singh was Punjab's hero, scoring four goals for the hosts. The other goals were scored by Jagdeep Kairon (two), Hami Dullah (two) and Bhupinder Singh.
