The actors from The Office have all been getting promotions. It's rare that a TV show launches so many film careers, especially since the Thursday NBC series is only at the end of its third season. Steve Carell, the show's awkward boss Michael Scott, was the first to break out when The 40-Year-Old Virgin became a blockbuster in 2005, after The Office's first season.
