Can a Sikh Proclaim His Identity, Proving to the World That He Is Not a Hindu?

Today many people , esp Hindus see Sikhs & Sikhism as Hindus & Hinduism ;
What is the best way of proclaiming to the world that we are Sikhs & not Hindus ??
Because we are not Hindus ; Its a fact , Its engraved on the stone slab & it cant be erased ;
