Macon County Humane Society paid for an audit in June 2008 from The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to see what improvements could be made at their facility and the private, nonprofit animal advocate organization recently issued a news release on the evaluation detailing some of the HSUS recommendations and MCHS changes.
