A great-granddaughter of British Suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst marched on Parliament and claimed there was "still so much to do" on equality.
Helen Pankhurst said it was "not good enough" that a quarter of MPs were women, and that austerity measures were "disproportionately affecting women", on the day of a 2012 march for women's rights.
Conservative MP Caroline Noakes said the goverment was working to help familiies and to keep mortgage rate low, and she spoke up for more women in Parliament.
