Whilst America seems to have moved in a more liberal direction with the election of the first Afro-American president, some European countries seem to have gone in the other direction and we are witnessing an increase in support for extreme right wing parties. Surprisingly, the BNP (a party with Klu Klux Klan tendencies) have recently won 2 seats to represent the UK in Europe. This means they will have a respectable platform and access to funds to push their supremacist ideology.
