there are sound files for the letters and lessons with sentences and sound files of a speaker pronouncing the sentences. Extremely helpful.
It would have even been better with sentences of everyday situations etc but we can work on that eg:

I also bought an old 1970's 'Teach yourself Punjabi' by C. Shackle, I like the old books as there is quite a bit of grammar and if you like to learn that way it can speed learning.
