Khalistan and Drugs

I for one am glad Khalistan does not exist. I feel for sure that one day it will, and it will be a shining example of democracy and freedom. However, let us be frank, if it existed today, it would probably be run along the same lines that our dear Punjab is run, and the less said about that the better.

The problem with us Sikhs, especially the Punjabi ones, is that an abundance of money has not brought happiness, it has brought greed and desire, and drugs, lots of drugs.

Whilst it may be fashionable to lament the current situation, to wail an cry and despair of what Sikhism has become, I personally think you have a combination of events that will bring the dream of a homeland closer.

Firstly, I would not wish to be part of any homeland born out of bloodshed, murder, fear, anger. The Tenth Master said that to unsheath the sword only after ALL (must give me that paypal address Gyaniji), other avenues had been explored, as a last resort.

The drug situation in Punjab is from what I gather quite bad, some say this is the start of the decline, I disagree, what you have now in the Punjab are millions of people all looking for something, all lost, in pain, desperate for a solution, desperate not for the Sikhi lite that has become fashionable, but grass roots Sikhi, the sort that starts with the brain, that fashions thinking, an education in how to behave, to talk, to think, to be completely in line with Creator, and thus be immune from the ravages that come with drugs, yes, Punjab is heaving with such people, all looking for an answer, the irony, the desperately sad irony is that the people in place to guide this growing flock, are the Deras, the Babas, the fake Gurus.

We could have a Khalistan right here and right now, but we are content to watch the flames that are burning every part of Punjab, it is my view that from these flames, a phoenix will rise, a mass of Sikhs that have been saved by Bani, and from these will not come violence, anger, demands, there will come Kindness, Love and Hukam. The more we want Khalistan, the more it will shy away from us, the more we want 'proper' Sikhs, fully keshdhari, non drinking, non druggy, polite, educated selfless types, the more they will escape us. We should want for nothing, we should concentrate on education, uniformity, patience, compassion, and allow consonance to work its magic, in the end, We will not have to fight for Khalistan, It may just happen, with smiles, and happiness, and solid relations with our neighbours.

We are not in a position for self rule, that much is for sure, all we will do is exchange the present Punjab Govt for a similar Khalistani one.

Until we prove to ourselves that we are not the hotheaded alcoholic dancing idiots that we have become, it will never happen.

But one day, once the drugs have been done with, there will be a huge mass of people begging for the answers, we should be in a position to give them
