The Kern Audubon Society will offer a ield trip on Monday, February 18th to the Pixley National Wildlife Refuge. This is a great opportunity to observe waterfowl, shorebirds and upland birds and watch the sandhill cranes fly in near dusk. Please meet in the parking lot of Costco on Rosedale Highway, near the gas pumps at 3 p.m. Dress warmly and bring water.
