Jacob C. Brown of Jackson, was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society on Feb. 27, 2007 at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa. Conducting the ceremony was Dr. Joanne S. Jordan, Ed.D, acting president. Presenting the invocation was Tommy Taylor, dean of students. Guest speaker was Leigh Hayes, director of marketing and communications at Shelton State.
