On Thursday night, more than 700 people gathered at Holmes Lake Park to take part in the Light the Night Walk. The walk, which began at 7:30 p.m., is an annual fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Those trekking along the mile-long route each carried a balloon.
