For several years, Lansing Historical Society member Paul Schultz has been planning a fall bus trip to learn about the historical significance of some of the places in the region. This year, the bus tour will cover Chicago’s Pullman Town. It was America’s first planned industrial community, constructed for George Pullman to house employees who built his sleeper cars.
