Investor's Business Daily - Echoing hawkish statements by other Fed officials, Cleveland Fed President Sandra Pianalto called the threat of higher inflation "the predominant risk" to the economy. She also warned that inflation expectations could be fueled by rising energy prices. On a more positive note, she said consumer demand has held up despite housing woes that have cut as much as a percentage point 15ff annual U.S. growth.
