The East Detroit Historical Society is hoping for big attendance Saturday at an event on a topic that would appear to be a crowd killer. Death and mourning will the subject of the society's free presentation, "Crepe, Crinoline and Corpses," from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Halfway Schoolhouse on 9 Mile just west of Gratiot.
