THE SIKH MARRIAGE ACT, 2012
An Act to amend, enact and codify the Law relating to Marriage among the Sikhs.
1. Short Title, Extent and Commencement:
(i) This Act may be called the Sikh Marriage Act, 2012.
(ii) It extends to the Union of India.
(iii) It shall come into force at once.
2. Application of the Act:
This Act applies to any person who is a SIKH by religion.
