Harriet Beecher Stowe, or at least a version of her played by actress Nan Colton, visited an enthusiastic crowd, made up of book and historical club members, for a performance that was a hybrid one woman play and question-and-answer session. The performance, which was preceded by a luncheon, was part of a fundraising effort by the Bonita Springs Historical Society.
