Continuing the drive to check adulteration in sweets, the UT Food and Supplies department has seized over 40 tonnes of adulterated sweets in Chandigarh in last one week, said Kavle V Parshuram, director of UT Food and Supplies department.
Almost all the shops, bakeries and factories inspected during the raids were found selling adulterated sweets.
